As most of you know, a year ago December we were devastated by our inability to bring home our to-be-adopted son, Moses, from Ghana, West Africa. A return trip in March was successful. Moses has now been with our family for 9 months. We celebrated his 2nd birthday in June. He is growing quickly, and has no developmental delays. In fact, he is quite agile and quick to learn.
Hans is now 7 years old. He initially had a tough adjustment to having a little brother, but now embraces his role of older sibling. Hans still enjoys video games, but is also interested in art and music. He has joined the Cub Scouts and is looking forward to the Pinewood Derby this month.

Jamie built and moved into a new vet clinic in Nov 2006. He still avidly plays golf and hunts. He will soon start training our new German wire-haired pointer, Winchester. Win had a tough start after we brought him home; he had two abdominal surgeries in a week and two hospitalizations at a specialty clinic.
My practice and teaching remains the same. I spend my days off with the boys and their increasing number of activities. We especially enjoy going to the pool in the summertime. We wish you much happiness and fulfillment in the coming year (or two).
The attached pictures are of our family in late December including the three dogs. If you know of someone we’ve missed with our mailing, please feel free to forward this.
